Yoga


The physical benefits of yoga are well-known; the body naturally becomes stronger and more flexible. In addition, posture improves, body awareness increases and a more graceful way of moving develops.

However, real strength – the kind that may not show – is what lies at the heart of yoga.

The transformation that happens is subtle but palpable, giving energy, confidence and a sense of being in touch with who we really are.

And, of course, on the level of stress reduction, yoga is a powerful tool. The postures themselves encourage release of tension in the nervous system and promote greater health.

Some of the benefits can be gained straight away; other benefits occur with continued practice.

Individual tuition is offered at £85 per hour. Clothing should be loose and comfortable. Mats and other equipment will be provided.
