What is
Stress
Managment?
We
all need pressure in
order to get up in
the morning! However
when we are
subjected to
continual,
unrelenting
pressure, this can
lead to undue
stress.
In this situation,
the subject is
unable to switch off
their 'fight or
flight' response and
is usually unaware
of it, until
telltale signs start
to show.
These
include headaches,
fatigue,
irritability & mood
swings, depression,
anxiety & phobias,
tummy upsets,
frequent colds,
difficulty with
concentration or
making decisions,
dramatic weight
fluctuation and so
on. Without
treatment it can
lead to high blood
pressure, heart
disease and other
serious illnesses
including burnout
and breakdowns.

What will happen during my
treatment?
The first
stage is to complete a short
questionnaire and to attend
a one-to-one consultation.
Based on your questionnaire,
you will be asked various
questions about your
lifestyle and situations as
they currently stand. We'll
then talk about where you
want to be.
Over a period
of (usually 3-6 sessions), I
will introduce you to proven
techniques and treatments,
such as relaxation,
hypnotherapy, reiki,
breathing techniques, NLP
and others, which will help
you make the right choices
to get your life back into
balance. You can then move
forward towards your goal in
a much more positive frame
of mind and in full control
and awareness.
Can Stess Managment help me?
If there is
any area of your life that
you're not 100% happy with
or if you experience two or
more of the following on a
regular basis, the answer is
a definite 'yes!':
-
Irritabilty/mood swings
-
Emotional
outbursts
-
Weight
fluctuation
-
Migraines
-
Tummy
upsets
-
Difficulty concentrating
& making decisions
-
Depression
-
Anxiety
and/or phobias & panic
attacks
-
Low
self-esteem
-
Negative
language & self-talk
-
Loss of
appetite
-
Feel out
of control
-
Feel
there's not enough time
-
Feel
guilty when you rest or
take a break
-
Have
difficulty with sleeping
-
Constantly procrastinate
and put things off
-
Have
difficulty managing
relationships
My clients
come because they have a
temporary 'hump' to get
over, because they are
facing a challenge, because
they need support during a
difficult period, because
they are contemplating an
important change or because
they recognise there's more
to life and need some
guidance.
There's no
risk and my style is
non-judgemental,
confidential, very
practical, down to earth,
empathetic and at times,
even fun!
