From 1993
until 2001
she taught
Voice
Dialogue at
the ITP in
Bergen and
at the
College for
Speech
Therapy in
Nijmegen,
Holland.
In
2001 she
started her
own three
year
training in
Transformational
Psychology
for students
in Holland
and in the
UK.Trilby
specialises
in stress
related
malfunctioning,
working on a
direct and
deep level
to link
health
disorders to
early
unconscious beliefsystems
and to place
them within
the broader
context of
the family
system.
Transformational
Psychology
-
Totally
accepting
and
non-judgemental,
transformational
psychology
helps us
explore what
is going on
without
assumptions
as to how
things
should be.
This work is
especially
recommended
for nervous
tension,
fatigue,
headaches,
insomnia,
chronic
muscular
tension,
depression
and any
stress-related
malfunctions.
It has also
proved
beneficial
for other
health
disorders,
and is
especially
useful for
working with
dilemmas
which are
causing
stress or
health
problems.
Voice
Dialogue
-
Based on the
Jungian
model, Voice
Dialogue is
a
psycho-spiritual
way of
working
which
integrates
the
physical,
mental,
spiritual
and
emotional
planes to
work on
health
disorders by
dialoguing
the
different
voices, or
selves
inside us.
In some
cases parts
of the body
may be
dialogued
directly,
often
revealing
new and
surprising
information
about what
is going on
in the body
on an
energetic
and
emotional
level. The
dialogue
also helps
contact
negative and
constrictive
belief
systems
which are
frequently
mirrored in
the bodily
symptoms we
suffer from.
Body
awareness
and energy
work
-
Simple
exercises
using
grounding,
breathing,
energy
expansion
and sounds
are used to
focus and
anchor the
dialoguing
process, and
help us
listen to
the inner
voices of
the body.
